The name and form of Fido is strongly inspired by a well-known loyal dog during World War II in Italy. Its owner adopted the stray dog Fido on the street and took well care of it. The war took the man’s life, but for more than ten years until its death, Fido still went to the bus station every day to wait for his owner. Too sad a story it may be, but the name Fido, its image, and its spirit, can be memorized by us through this elegant and useful daily helper.
